We're here to help

1. Getting Started

Creating an Account

Download the RUSH app and tap Sign Up. Enter your email and create a password, or sign in with your existing Apple or Google account. You'll be prompted to verify your email before accessing the Platform.

Setting Up Your Profile

After signing up, complete your profile by adding a photo, display name, and bio. Choose your role — Attendee if you're here to discover events, or Host if you plan to organize them. You can switch roles at any time from your profile settings.

2. Managing Your Account

Editing Your Profile

Tap your profile photo in the bottom navigation bar, then tap Edit Profile. You can update your name, handle, bio, profile photo, and location from here.

Notification Preferences

Go to Profile → Settings → Preferences to toggle push notifications and email notifications on or off. Push notifications cover connection requests and event reminders. Email notifications cover ticket confirmations and event updates.

Deleting Your Account

To delete your account, open Profile → Settings and tap Delete Account. Deletion is processed in the app. You can also email rush.events.support@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We permanently delete your data per our Privacy Policy.

3. Events & Tickets

Finding Events

Browse events from the home screen. Events are shown near your location by default. Use the search and filter options to find events by date, category, or host.

Buying Tickets

Tap any event to view its details, then tap Get Tickets. Select the ticket type and quantity, then complete checkout with your saved payment method or add a new card. You'll receive a confirmation notification and email once your purchase is complete.

Viewing Your Tickets

Access your tickets anytime from the Tickets tab in the bottom navigation. Tap a ticket to view its QR code for event entry.

Hosting an Event

Switch to Host role from your profile, then tap the + button to create a new event. Fill in the event name, description, date, location, and ticket options. Once published, your event will appear in discovery for other users.

4. Connections

Sending a Connection Request

Visit a user's profile and tap Connect. They'll receive a notification and can accept or decline. Once connected, you can see each other's events and activity.

Managing Connections

View all your connections from the Connections tab on your profile. Tap any connection to visit their profile or remove the connection.

5. Troubleshooting

Not Receiving Notifications

Check that push notifications are enabled in Profile → Settings → Preferences. Also verify that RUSH has permission to send notifications in your device settings: go to Profile → Settings → App Permissions to open your device's permission settings for RUSH.

Payment Issues

If a payment fails, verify your card details are correct and that your bank hasn't flagged the transaction. Try a different payment method if the issue persists. For unrecognized charges, contact rush.events.support@gmail.com immediately.

App Not Loading

Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, check your internet connection and ensure you have the latest version of RUSH installed from the App Store or Google Play.
